Coding

Here is a quick overview of the skills I've acquired in a variety of programming languages. I'm actively working on improving my skills and I would be happy to discuss them further.

Please see my GitHub Portfolio for some examples of things I've worked on by clicking here.

Python 3

The packages I use the most frequently in Python are scikit-learn, numpy, and pandas. The screenshots below show an example of

Currently I'm working on learning more about Bokeh for visualizations and Cython to improve the run-time of models run locally.

SQL

Working in Oracle's SQL Data Modeler is useful for the creation of new databases and understanding their structure. I also have a versatile skill set in SQL Developer, which allow insight into databases. A few examples are shown below.

R / R-Studio

R is a useful statistical software that I use less often than Python but it is a little better to run calculations on.

Apache Spark

In the below document, I show how I read in a csv file from AWS S3 and created new edited csv files in S3 output files. My skills, as shown below, are in PySpark and Spark SQL.

LaTeX

Being able to edit documents to be visually appealing, especially when they include equations, is very important when generating reports, white papers, or other documents. Here is a sample document created using Texmaker
